To celebrate our 30th year, we're reflecting on the moments that shaped the brand we are today, focusing on a new theme every month.
June has always seemed like a turning point in the year. It feels like we’re leaving Spring behind and getting ready for all the adventures the summer will bring. Festivals, Father’s Day and far flung trips to the coast are all on the to-do list. Garden parties, pub gardens and BBQs will hopefully fill many sun-soaked evenings and weekends.
Of course, in Britain we know that summer doesn’t necessarily mean sunshine – we’re all too familiar with hosepipe bans being mentioned in the same breath as thundery downpours. However, we’ll never let rain stop play, memories of heading to the beach despite grey skies and grilling sausages underneath an umbrella always bring a smile to my face.
This optimism defines us as a brand and as a group of people. One thing I’ve learnt over the years is that sometimes you must make your own sunshine – so whatever the weather, we’re excited to finally be able to say, ‘hello summer’.
We’d love you to tell us (or rather show us!) what June has in store for you and what exactly ‘hello summer’ means to you.

“What a fantastic shot of the adventures that lie ahead. A little apprehensive but excited about the unknown. A toddler showing the spirit of adventure as he leads mum to where the wild things are!”
