  1. RATINGS & REVIEWS COMPETITION – TERMS AND CONDITIONS
      ENTRY PROCESS
    1. THE PROMOTER of the prize draw is Joules Limited, The Barn, Rockingham Road, Market Harborough, Leicestershire, LE16 7QD.
    2. Entry is made by leaving a review for one of your recent Joules product purchases.
    3. Entry opens as soon as a review of the product you purchased is left
      4. ELIGIBILITY OF ENTRIES
    4. You may only enter this prize draw if you:
      1. reside in the United Kingdom; and
      2. are at least 18 years of age or older; and
      3. have access to the internet; and
      4. have a valid and active email address or telephone number
    5. Only entries that follow the required entry process will be considered. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, delayed, incomplete or damaged entries and cannot be held responsible for any inability to submit entries as a result of computer service, systems and/or server failure, error, interruption, defect or delay or any other technical malfunction.
    6. No bulk, third party or organised group entries will be permitted.
    7. The prize draw is not open to: Joules employees and their immediate family, their agents or anyone else in any way professionally connected with this prize draw.
    8. Entry is limited to one review posted by you.
    9. A purchase will be necessary to be entered into this prize draw.
      10. THE WINNING ENTRIES
    10. The winner will win a £100 Joules Gift Card. The winner will be selected by randomised electronic selection from all of the valid entries.
    11. The winner will be selected at random on the first working day of each month by Joules and contacted following the draw by Joules on the email address or telephone number provided.
    12. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner. If they cannot be contacted, fail to respond or if a Prize remains unclaimed within two weeks, the Prize shall be forfeited, and Joules reserves the right to offer the unclaimed Prize to the next entrant selected at random.
    13. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
      14. THE PRIZE
    14. The prize is non-transferable, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. If the prize is no longer available due to circumstances beyond Joules’ control, a prize of equal or greater value will be provided. The prize is only redeemable by the named winner and it must not be sold on.
      15. DISCLAIMER
    15. Joules reserves the right to (i) withdraw, change or cancel the prize draw at any time, (ii) cancel or refuse any individual’s entry and (iii) amend these terms and conditions (and will use reasonable endeavours to notify changes to entrants and potential entrants).
    16. Joules, including its officers, directors, employees, shareholders or agents, excludes all liability for any losses and/or damages of whatever nature and howsoever arising to the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws.
    17. In consideration of being awarded the prize, if you are the winner, you may be required by Joules to take part in publicity related to the subject of the prize draw, and you now confirm that if you are the winner, you will take part in such publicity. Such publicity may include, without limitation, use of your name, photograph (to be provided on request) and statements made by you concerning the prize draw and/or the prize. You now provide the Promoter with a right and licence to use the entry on the Promoter’s website, and throughout the Promoter’s social media channels.
    18. These terms and conditions are subject to the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
  2. Joules X Another Place Competition October 2022 – Terms and Conditions
      Promoter’s Name and Address
    1. Joules Limited, The Barn, Rockingham Road, Market Harborough, Leicestershire, LE16 7QD (“Joules”).
      2. The Competition
    2. No purchase is necessary to enter or to win the Competition and any purchase made will not increase the chance of winning.
    3. This Competition will run for the “Competition Period” which shall be from 06:00GMT on 01/10/2022 until 23:59GMT on 31/10/2022 (the “Closing Date”). By entering this Competition you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions (“T&Cs”). The details of the Competition form part of these T&Cs. You should print and retain a copy of these T&Cs for reference. Any breach of these T&Cs may result in a prize being forfeited, at Joules’ sole discretion.
    4. To participate in this Competition, entrants must not be Joules or Instagram employees, third parties involved in the Competition, their families, agents or anyone else in any way professionally connected with this Competition, and must meet the following requirements (the “Eligibility Criteria”):
      1. a. reside in the United Kingdom; and
      2. b. be at least 18 years of age or older; and
      3. c. have access to the internet
      4. d. have a valid and active Instagram account.
      How to Enter
    5. Joules will post a “Joules X Another Place Competition October 2022” photo on its Instagram page (“Competition Post”). Every person who meets the Eligibility Criteria (“Entrant”) shall be entitled during the Competition Period, to do the following in order to enter (entries will not be deemed complete unless these steps are completed):
      1. Like the Joules Instagram Page (https://www.instagram.com/joules/) and
      2. Like the Another Place Instagram Page (https://www.instagram.com/anotherplacehotels/) and
      3. like and comment under the Competition Post as directed in the post (the “Entry”).
    6. The Competition must be entered in the Entrant’s own name and using the Entrant’s own email address. The Competition may not be entered on behalf of anyone else.
    7. No bulk, software-generated, automatic, or third-party entries shall be accepted. If a false name is used, that Entry will be disqualified.
    8. Only entries that have been completed in full will be entered into the competition. Joules does not accept any responsibility for late, lost, delayed or damaged entries and cannot be held responsible for any inability to submit entries as a result of computer service, systems and/or server failure, error, interruption, defect or delay or any other technical malfunction. 
      9. Winner Selection
    9. The Winner (as defined below) be chosen by means of randomised electronic selection from all of the valid Entries received in the “Competition period”. The draw will take place and a comment will be added to the Competition Post to confirm the Winner by 31st of October 2022 following the original Competition Post. By entering this prize draw you consent that, if you win, your name, address and email address will be available to Joules for the sole purpose of organising your prize only.
      10. The Prize
    10. There will be one UK based winner during the competition period (the “Winner”). The Winner will win:
      1. 1 x 4-night family break 2 adults and 2 children (aged 12 and under) on a B&B basis at Another Place – available all year, subject to availability.
      2. 1 x Another Place print
      3. £500 Joules voucher
    11. The Prize is non-transferable and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. If the Prize is no longer available due to circumstances beyond Joules’ control, a prize of equal or greater value will be provided. The Prize is only redeemable by the named Winner. It must not be sold on.
    12. The Prize will be posted to the Winner’s postal address as provided by the Winner to Joules. Joules is not responsible for failure to deliver the Prize should a postal address be provided incorrectly. *Separate terms and conditions are applicable to the Joules gift card.       13. Contacting the Winner
    13. Joules will make reasonable efforts to notify the Winner of the Prize by means of replying to the winning comment of the Instagram account used to submit the Entry on the day of the prize draw. Joules is not responsible for any contact details which recorded incorrectly or security settings of the Instagram account prohibiting personal messaging. If having made those efforts it is not possible to contact the Winner, Joules reserves the right to offer the Winner’s Prize to the next valid Entrant chosen by means of randomised electronic selection. Any reselection will be undertaken in accordance with these T&Cs.
    14. The Prize will be posted to the Winner’s postal address provided following successful notification of the Prize. Joules is not responsible for failure to deliver the Prize should a postal address be provided incorrectly.
    15. The surname of the Winners will be obtainable for three months from the Closing Date upon application Joules X Another Place Competition October 2022 (Winner Details Request), Joules Limited, The Joules Barn, Rockingham Road, Market Harborough, Leicestershire, LE16 7QD.
      16. Data Protection
    16. By entering and submitting a competition entry you:
    17. a. agree to be bound by these T&Cs;
    18. b. provided no objection is received and if you are a Winner, agree and hereby consent to allow any member of the Promoter’s group of companies to use your name, details and photographs/videos on any media for advertising and publicity purposes in relation to this competition and for any other reasonable promotional purpose without additional remuneration; and
    19. c. agree that any personal information provided by you with your Entry may be held and used by Joules, PromoVeritas or any agent appointed to assist Joules with running the competition for the administration of this competition and, if you are a Winner, the delivery of the Prize, unless your positive consent has been received to opt-in to receive future marketing communications from Joules. Any personal information provided by you will be used in accordance with the Joules Privacy Policy which you can see online at https://www.joules.com/Privacy.
    20. d. In consideration of being awarded the Prize, if you are the Winner, you may be required by Joules to take part in publicity related to the subject of the competition, and you now confirm that if you are the Winner, you will take part in such publicity. Such publicity may include, without limitation, use of your name, photographs/videos (to be provided on request) and statements made by you concerning the competition and/or the Prize. You now provide Joules with a right and licence to use the Entry on the Joules website, and throughout Joules’ social media channels, and to sublicence the right to do the same to Joules’ wholesalers.
      21. Limitation of Liability and Governing Law
    21. Joules reserves the right to withdraw, change or cancel the Prize Draw at any time. Joules’ decision in all matters will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
    22. Joules, including its officers, directors, employees, shareholders or agents, excludes all liability for any losses and/or damages of whatever nature and howsoever arising to the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws.
    23. In consideration of being awarded the Prize, if you are the winner, you may be required by Joules to take part in publicity related to the subject of the Prize Draw, and you now confirm that if you are the winner, you will take part in such publicity. Such publicity may include, without limitation, use of your name, photograph (to be provided on request) and statements made by you concerning the Prize Draw and/or the Prize. You now provide Joules with a right and licence to use the entry on the Joules website, and throughout Joules’ social media channels.
    24. Your details will be used in relation to the administration of this Prize Draw and the delivery of the Prize. You will be added to Joules’ mailing list if you tick the box to confirm you would like to be added.

  3. “Win a Countryside Christmas” Instagram Competition 2022
      Promoter’s Name and Address
    1. The “Win a Countryside Christmas” competition (the “Competition”) is brought to you by Joules Limited, The Joules Barn, Rockingham Road, Market Harborough, Leicestershire LE16 7QD (“Joules”).
    2. On 16 November 2022 Joules entered Administration and William Wright, Christopher Pole and Ryan Grant were appointed joint Administrators (the “Administrators”). The Administrators act at all times as agent of Joules without personal liability.
      3. The Competition
    3. No purchase is necessary to enter or to win the Competition and any purchase made will not increase the chance of winning.
    4. This Competition will run for the “Competition Period” which shall be from 06:00GMT on 1 November 2022 until 23:59GMT on 30 November 2022 (the “Closing Date”). Any entries received after the Closing Date will not be accepted and will be automatically disqualified. By entering this Competition you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions (“T&Cs”). The details of the Competition form part of these T&Cs.       5. like and comment under the Competition Post as directed in the Competition Post (the “Entry”).
    7. The Competition must be entered in the Entrant’s own name and using the Entrant’s own email address. The Competition may not be entered on behalf of anyone else.

    10. There will be one UK based winner during the competition period (the “Winner”). The Winner will win:

      2. a DFS Joules sofa in the colour and size of the winner’s choice up the value of £1,500;
      3. a £500 Garden Trading gift card;
      4. up to six (6) personalized Christmas stockings from Friend of Joules, Tillyanna; and
      5. a £1,000 Joules gift card, (together the “Prize”).
    11. The voucher from holidaycottages.co.uk is subject to the following terms:
      1. a.It must be booked by 31st December 2023 towards one or more holidays in 2023 or 2024. No cash alternative is available if the full voucher value is not redeemed.
      2. b.It can be redeemed against available properties on www.holidaycottages.co.uk.
      3. c.All bookings are subject to availability and the standard booking terms available at www.holidaycottages.co.uk/full-booking-terms.
      4. d.Insurance, travel/transportation, spending money, food, drink and other miscellaneous costs are not included.
      5. e.The voucher is valid for new bookings only.
    12. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for monetary value or for any other form of compensation. Each prize is subject to availability and if a prize is no longer available due to circumstances beyond Joules’ control, a prize of equal or greater value will be provided.       14. Winner Selection

    15. The draw will take place and a comment will be added to the Competition Post to confirm the Winner by 9 December 2022. Joules’ decision regarding the Winner is final and binding in all respects and Joules will not enter into any further correspondence.
      16. Contacting the Winner
    16. Joules will make reasonable efforts to notify the Winner of the Prize by means of replying to the winning comment of the Instagram account used to submit the Entry on the day of the prize draw. Joules is not responsible for any contact details which recorded incorrectly or security settings of the Instagram account prohibiting personal messaging. If having made those efforts it is not possible to contact the Winner, Joules reserves the right to offer the Winner’s Prize to the next valid Entrant chosen by means of randomised electronic selection. Any reselection will be undertaken in accordance with these T&Cs.
    17. Joules is not responsible for any contact details which are provided incorrectly or for the security settings of the Winner’s Instagram account prohibiting any form of messaging.
    18. Subject to applicable data protection laws, the Winner’s surname and county of residence can be obtained for a period of three months after the end of the Competition Period by writing to Joules at the address set out in clause 1 above and stating the name and date of the competition.
    19. Winners who do not want their surname and county included on the list of winners referred to above must notify Joules within a reasonable period of time before the end of the Competition Period. See clause 1 above for Joules’ contact details.
      20. Data Protection
    20. By entering and submitting a competition entry you:
    21. a. agree to be bound by these T&Cs;
    22. b. provided no objection is received and if you are a Winner, you acknowledge that for Joules’ legitimate interests of promoting its business and this competition Joules will wish to allow any member of the Promoter’s group of companies to use your name, details and photographs/videos on any media for advertising and publicity purposes (on behalf of Joules) in relation to this competition and (on their own behalf not on behalf of Joules) for any other reasonable promotional purpose without additional remuneration; and
    23. c. acknowledge that any personal information provided by you with your Entry may be held and used by Joules, PromoVeritas or any agent appointed to assist Joules with running the competition for the legitimate interest of administration of this competition and, if you are a Winner, the delivery of the Prize, and you can if you so wish (this is a separate point) give your positive consent to opt-in to receive future marketing communications from Joules when requested. Any personal information provided by you will be used in accordance with the Joules Privacy Policy which you can see online at https://www.joules.com/Privacy.
    24. d. In consideration of being awarded the Prize, if you are the Winner, you may be required by Joules for its legitimate interests to take part in publicity related to the subject of the competition, and you now confirm that if you are the Winner, you understand that you will be expected to take part in such publicity for those legitimate interests. Such publicity may include, without limitation, use of your name, photographs/videos (to be provided on request) and statements made by you concerning the competition and/or the Prize. You now hereby grant to Joules an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free and non-exclusive right and licence to use the Entry, including any photographs, images and other content of such Entry, and any and all photographic, video and other content supplied to Joules or submitted by you or on your behalf as part of entering or otherwise in connection with this Competition, a right and licence to use the entry on the Joules website, and throughout Joules’ social media channels for the purpose of promoting and marketing Joules and/or its business activities, and to sublicence the right to do the same to Joules’ wholesalers. This clause 23 is without prejudice to applicable data protection laws including your rights under those laws.

None of Joules, its Administrators, officers, directors, representatives, employees, shareholders or agents, shall be liable for any losses and/or damages of whatever nature and howsoever arising to the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws arising out of or in connection with the Competition.
    27. In consideration of being awarded the Prize, if you are the winner, you may be required by Joules for its legitimate interests to take part in publicity related to the subject of the Prize Draw, and you now confirm that if you are the winner, you understand that you will be expected to take part in such publicity for those legitimate interests. Such publicity may include, without limitation, use of your name, photograph (to be provided on request) and statements made by you concerning the Prize Draw and/or the Prize. You now provide Joules with a right and licence to use the entry on the Joules website, and throughout Joules’ social media channels.

    11. Daily Entry Period: Enter each day during the Competition Period between 06:00GMT and 23:59 GMT.

Every person who meets the Eligibility Criteria (“Entrant”) shall be entitled during the Daily Entry Period, to do the following in order to enter (entries will not be deemed complete unless these steps are completed):
      1. a.like the Joules Instagram page (https://www.instagram.com/joules/); and
      2. b.like and comment under the Daily Competition Post as directed in the Daily Competition Post (the “Entry”).
    14. The competition must be entered in the Entrant’s own name and using the Entrant’s own Instagram account. The competition may not be entered on behalf of anyone else.
    15. No bulk, software-generated, automatic, or third-party entries shall be accepted. If a false name is used, that Entry will be disqualified.
    16. Only entries that have been completed in full will be entered into the competition. Joules does not accept any responsibility for late, lost, delayed or damaged entries and cannot be held responsible for any inability to submit entries as a result of computer service, systems and/or server failure, error, interruption, defect or delay or any other technical malfunction.       17. The Daily Prize

      19. Daily Winner Selection
    19. During the Competition Period, there will be a total of twelve (12) winners of a Daily Prize. During the Daily Entry Period, there will be one (1) winner of a Daily Prize, chosen by means of randomised electronic selection from all of the valid Entries received in the Daily Entry Period (the “Daily Winner”).
    20. A Daily Prize draw will take place each day during the Competition Period and a comment will be added to the relevant Daily Competition Post to confirm the Daily Winner within 3 working days of the end of the relevant Daily Entry Period.
    21. Joules’ decision regarding the Daily Winner is final and binding in all respects and Joules will not enter into any further correspondence.

    22. Joules will use reasonable efforts to notify the Daily Winner of the Daily Prize by means of replying to the winning comment of the Instagram account used to submit the Entry. If having made those efforts it is not possible to contact the Daily Winner, Joules reserves the right to offer the Daily Winner’s Daily Prize to the next valid Entrant chosen by means of randomised electronic selection. Any reselection will be undertaken in accordance with these T&Cs.
    23. Joules is not responsible for any contact details which are provided incorrectly or for the security settings of the Daily Winner’s Instagram account prohibiting any form of messaging.
    24. Subject to applicable data protection laws, each Daily Winner’s surname and county of residence can be obtained for a period of one month after the end of the Competition Period by writing to Joules at the address set out in clause 1 above and stating the name and date of the competition.
    25. Daily Winners who do not want their surname and county included on the list of winners referred to above must notify Joules within a reasonable period of time before the end of the Competition Period. See clause 1 above for Joules’ contact details.

    10. Once received, tickets are only valid for the dates and times shown. No alternatives will be available. The Winner will not be entitled to any compensation and will have no claim against either Joules or the organisers if the Badminton Horse Trials 2024 are delayed, postponed, rescheduled or cancelled.
    11. Travel/transportation, accommodation, insurance, spending money, food, drinks and miscellaneous or other costs of a personal nature are not included.
