We’re partnering with 100s of creative people and businesses to bring you 1000s of perfect products for you and your family (even your four legged friends!)… in just one place.
Now more than ever, it’s so important for us all to come together, support each other and do all we can in the fight against Covid-19. Here are some of the ways we’ve been trying to share a little sunshine (with your help too!).
Here at Joules, we believe it’s so important in these difficult times to give back to those who are looking after us day in and day out. We’ve been working closely with the University of Leicester Hospitals Trust and our charity partner, Hospice UK to help to provide support to those who need it most.
We have sourced and donated 50,000 civilian-grade masks to those who urgently need them. Alongside this, we’re working to support the University of Leicester Hospitals Trust further with sourcing even more urgently needed hospital gowns.
We are donating almost 10,000 of our own products, including pop-on welly clogs, hand cream and our signature fluffy socks to those that need them most.
“Right now, hospice nurses and other frontline staff find themselves at the forefront of the battle with COVID 19- continuing to care for our vulnerable people whist also easing the burden on the NHS. One of our key priorities is ensuring hospices have adequate supplies of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and we are hugely grateful to our amazing corporate partner Joules for supporting this vital area of work by donating thousands of masks to hospices in the UK. Thank you!”
Tracey Bleakley – Hospice UK CEO
“Not only will your kind donation go towards supporting our staff as they continue to save and protect lives... but it has also let them know just how much respect and support they have from the local community.”
University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust
has already been raised for the NHS Charities Together Urgent Covid-19 Appeal from the sales of our specially curated ‘Rainbow Edit’.
These funds will contribute towards funding anything from well-being packs for staff to vital accommodation for front line workers. There’s still a chance for you to get involved, show your support or donate directly to this worthy cause.
Along with our daily doses of sunshine, we’ve got plenty of ideas to keep your spirits up.
We are continually inspired by the beauty of nature and often look to the countryside to provide a calming influence in difficult times. Here are just some images that have kept us smiling.
From a flock of sheep keeping people in rural Wales entertained by invading a children’s playground (really!) to hanging messages of hope for all to see, we’ve been tickled and inspired by all the things that have happened to spread joy in our community.
Get comfy and make a little time to have a read of some our blog posts. Plenty of ideas to explore and discover.
