Every season the core of our men’s collection is made up of what we class as ‘British heritage pieces’. These range from rugged yet refined outerwear styles such as our wax and tweed jackets to our brogues and knitwear. Pieces that truly capture and reflect what we stand for as a brand; quality, style and turning the ordinary into the extraordinary.
We have established relationships (that over time have become friendships) with a few carefully selected manufacturers in Britain. Our wax comes from Halley Stevensons in Scotland – they’ve been dying, finishing and waxing cotton since 1864 – we’ve crafted pieces with fabric woven by Marton Mills in Yorkshire and our Bradgate Jumper was made in Leicester. For over three seasons our brogues have also been handmade by a small family-run business in Northampton, the home of British shoemaking.
Tom Joule and Tim, our senior menswear designer, continue to push every men’s collection forward by taking inspiration from blogs and books to catwalks and sidewalks (not to mention everything in between).
But no matter where in the world their inspiration comes from, the heart of each and every men’s collection is as British as can be.
