Fabulous and cosy
Do not be deceived by the lightweight feel of this coat. I have an outdoorsey job and I need something to stand up to chilly weather. I have well and truely test driven this coat and have stayed warm and dry at all times. I have no reservations about facing the colder weather now. Bravo joules!

Desirable Duvet Parka
...love the coat, more or less in its entirety. Lightweight and cosy, really nice fit in body and length Im a size 10, 5ft 2 and bought the 10 in brown. The gold zips are quite glitzy but I dont mind them and the great thing is they work really well, unlike most zips on coats I have bought in the past. Personally, Id like the hood a little roomier I have thick hair and wear it up a lot which is why I havent given it 5 stars.

Love it!!
I spent ages looking at coats online and finally decided on this one. No regrets, I love it- it is keeping me warm I am always cold and looks really stylish too. Even when I take the kids to nursery with messy hair and no make-up I still feel like a yummy mummy!

Perfect!
I am really pleased with this coat, its so lightweight but keeps you snug in the cold. It is very stylish, quite fitted and not bulky like some padded coats. Perfect for winter!

Stylish, practical, warm
Nice that it comes in a little at the waist to define that area a little. Not too padded, so not too bulky. Good length Im 5 10, sleeves are fine, but would be nice just a couple of cm longer. Nice large hood. Its been glammed up sufficiently with the shiny zips. Im hoping it will also keep me warm enough when the proper cold winter weather and frosts arrives.

I love this coat!
I just love this coat. I wasnt sure about the saddle colour but found that it does go with so many things so am really pleased. The coat is really good quality and snuggly warm. Have got lots of compliments on it from friends and strangers too!

The little extra details are just classy enough without being too bling once again Joules has hit the mark. Plus this coat is really warm without the normal bulkiness of other down jackets Ive tried and believe me I tried a few!!

Warm and stylish! A winter winner.
A wonderful stylish and cosy coat definitely worth the money. Appears well made. A little bit of style to lift it from a standard winter coat. Couldnt find anything else around that was as good value as this one. Quite a snug fit so may want to go up a size.

Stylish and snug
The coat is well made and stylish. It fits well I have a size 10 - normally a size 8 and have enough room for winter jumpers under it. Would recommend buying a size up if you wear thick jumpers.
It isnt massively thick but certainly warm enough for English winters and the hood is fantastic. Who needs a hat!

Really like the chunky zip and quality of the materials. The contrast light blue colour in the arms is attractive. It would be really nice if it was also in the rest of the inside of coat. It is lovely and warm. Perfect for winter.

Cool coat!
Very nice coat, totally what I expected, very warm and light. Saddle color is really nice. Only one thing, I would have added an inner pocket though the one on the chest is good and big enough.

Fantastic coat
This is a fantastic buy! I was a little dubious when I received the coat as it is not very thick and quite light. I have a job which takes me out in all weathers so I need something to keep me warm. After a few test outings, I have no doubts that this will keep me cosy all winter - whithout compromising on style! Highly recommended.

Stylish, excellent quality
I absolutely adore this coat! I was worried that it might be a tad too short, but at 54 it is suitably long, about half way down my thing, so feels quite substantial. I am actually a size UK6, but the 8 fits well: roomy, but still nicely shaped and well fitted when I layer beneath it. Love the details and quality, the hood is the perfect size, and the fabric has a nice, quality feel to it that I didnt expect with a polyester parka.

Love this coat!
Absolutely love this coat! Ordered the saddle colour and is very true to the picture. Only reason I give 4 stars is the sizing, had to go a size up in order to wear a thick jumper underneath. Other than that a lovely stylish warm coat for the winter.

Splendid!
Warm, comfortable and stylish. Neat fit without being too bulky. Good deep pockets and snuggly hood -almost looking forward to the colder weather! Tried a few other similar coats but found this by far the most flattering and reasonably priced.

Stylish and Practical
This coat is fab. I have it in Saddle colour, which is just like the colour shown on the website.
Its lovely and cosey and looks really stylish as its nicely fitted.
I am quite tall and struggle to get coats that are long enough in the arms, but this fits perfect.
I would recommend it as a lovely winter coat, and I am expecting to get very good use of it with our British weather!

Lightweight but warm coat
Bought this in mulled - lovely colour. As other reviewers have said, is medium weight coat - perfect for my purposes as do not live in polar regions. Unlike other similar coats I've tried this does not make me look the size of a bus - got to be a good thing. Only minor quibble is surpisingly blingy zips on pockets - rather a vivid yellow/gold - something a bit more subtle would have been nice - hence only 4 stars

Love this - worth the money as a cut above other high street versions. I was lucky enough to get the navy one with 15% off coupon so very lucky! A am a size 12 but did order a 14 and it is fine. Enough room for an extra layer without looking bulky and like i've got alot of extra space round the back. Seems quite lightweight. Don't find it too glitzy with the zips - they make it abit more special!

SO nice - best winter coat I've had yet!
I've not actually worn this coat out yet, but as soon as I put it on I instantly knew it was a keeper. The colour is gorgeous & just as it looks in the photo. It goes about halfway down my thigh (though I am quite short), is very lightweight and very flattering (despite the fact that I may have ordered a size too large!) - Definitely pleased with my purchase, worth every penny.

Love it Love it LOVE IT!
This jacket is so warm and cosy, has a very useful hood (that actually fits nicely over your head and isn't just an accessory), and looks great on - it compliments your figure and doesn't make you look too chunky as most puffa jackets do!

My favourite winter purchase!
I love my coat! The mulled colour is fantastic and the gold zipper details are great. It's wonderfully warm without being so thick that you can't hang your arms by your sides! The length is really good too, I'm quite short and it sits just above my knees. All of the toggles make it a great adjustable fit and the hood is fantastic. My biggest winter investment this year and definitely my favourite! <3

Warm but not too heavy!
Warm, but not too thick and heavy unlike some other cots out there. Warm so wont need loads of layers on underneath!
Hood nice and big ideal to snuggle into!
Husband comments on the zips how they made it look premium and better quality than other similar style coats I had tried - impressive for him to actually notice! Thumbs up.

Very Pleased
Delivered very quickly, and is very nice coat. A good fit, with lots of little eye catching details.
Looking forward to some cold weather now to wear it!
Only thing I would say is that the hood is quite big, even when using the toggles to pull it in a bit, would prefer it to be a bit more snug.

Fantastic quality, fantastic fit

Fantastic coat
I have this coat in the brown and am absolutely delighted with it. Like some earlier reviewers, I initailly thought the gold detailing was a bit too glitzy, so opted for brown rather than navy as I think it contrasts slightly less on this colour way. Having worn it on a very cold morning recently, I was delighted with it's warmth. I also received lots of compliments about it from fellow mums on the school run that day!

Poor Purchase made of flimsy fabric
I purchased this coat 5 days ago and have worn it twice. On the second occasion, I snagged it on something and the fabric tore like a hot knife through butter, revealing the fact that the fabric is very thin and flimsy nylon. My first Joules purchase, and as the clothes are manufactured for the countryside, I really thought that the coat would last me for a good 5 years, justifying the price tag. Very disappointed and out of pocket!

This coat is amazing. it is warm and having a hood that stays up is perfect. the length is great and the colour is really versatile.looks great with all the joules range underneath as still have lots of room even though is a slim fit. all my friends have admired this coat and all want one. looks fab with the chocoways gloves.

Fabulous Coat
A fabulous coat, it will be so useful for our cold days, although we are going into our Australian summer it will still be terrific for next Autumn and Winter.

Soft, warm, and comfy
My coat arrived in just two days. The fit is perfect, plenty of room for jumpers underneath, and it's lovely and warm yet still looks slimline and stylish. I love the colour and the furry hood. Perfect for winter walks in the woods. I almost can't wait for it to get colder...

This navy parker is a gorgeous find.
What a fabulous product to combine a smarter look with a performance coat. perfect from now till April. I ordered a size larger so I could fit plenty of layers underneath for extremely cold weather. Wouldn't want it any bulkier, puffa styles can get very unflattering and too warm in anything but below freezing . This is perfect. Really happy.

Lovely coat, warm and stylish.
Just one design point, there is no hanging loop which means that it will have to hang directly on the hook, not ideal for a down filled garment.
Otherwise, it's perfect!

Lovely jacket. Great quality. As a previous reviewer said, gold zips may be a bit glitzy for some people. If it was a coat, and below the knee, it would tick all the boxes for a freezing cold day, hood is really big, like an eskimo! Despite it being a heavy jacket, it is still neat and stylish.Very happy.

lovely and warm
I love the colour of this great coat. It's nice and warm although not too thick. The arms are a get length as often find coats are too long. The pocket zips are a bit glitzy and big for my liking but the poppers are ideally when you just need to throw it quickly to get between the house and the car in a rain storm. My daughter loves this coat and often borrow to play lions with it as it has the most wonderful furry trim

This coat is lovely for Winter. It will be thick enough for the Winter and you can easily put jumpers on underneath. I was pleasently surprised that the size was generous and arm length was good. Cant wait for the Winter now!!

I ordered the Mulberry, which is a lovely colour. The details distinguish the coat from cheaper retailers. It seems very well made, the hood is a lovely snug fit to keep out the wind.
I have given it 4 stars only because it hasn't been cold enough to wear it to try out!

Good!
Pleasantly surprised, looks good on and feels comfortable. Fits a relatively long arm, which is good for me. The navy colour is very similar to the picture and the details are very tastefully selected. I give it four starts simply because obviously I haven't been able to test it in cold weather yet, but I think it will be all right in a few minus degrees. It is not a jacket for the Antarctic but I'm confident it will suit an average winter.

Lovely, but not as thick as expected.
I bought this coat as I specifically wanted a thick, warm coat for the school run, dog walks etc. The coat itself is lovely - the gold zips and detailing makes it look like a great quality item. But unfortunately, this is not the thickest of duck down coats - I'd say probably mid weight, and sadly I am going to return it solely for this reason.
